What's the Difference?

TFT (Thought Field Therapy) was the fist technique of it's kind developed by Dr. Roger Callahan Ph.D in the early 1980's. He had been studying Eastern massage & acupuncture and how those techniques were being used to affect body energy and meridians and facilitating healing. He developed different algorithms for "tapping" certain meridian points in specific order & number based on what a client might be experiencing.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) developed by Gary Craig, followed a decade later. After learning the TFT techniques from Dr. Callahan, he developed a single algorithm that uses the same tapping points in the same sequence. In addition, a mantra is used and differs based on the client's needs and goals.
